The Moms Effect: Impact Garage – A Community Day of Giving in Studio City
For the first time ever, The Moms Effect is launching Impact Garage — a mom-led, heart-forward day of community giving, family kindness, and hands-on support for women and children in transitional housing through LA Family Housing.
This event is made possible not by local partners coming together to support women & children facing housing insecurity.

Hosted with gratitude at the home & garage of Kelsey Mattos—thank you for opening your doors and heart to the community.
What to Expect
Impact Garage was designed to be inclusive, hands-on, and family-friendly. All ages, all backgrounds, all neighborhoods are welcome—not just Studio City families.
Activities include:
Assembling toiletry + dignity care kits for mothers & children in transitional housing
Hanukkah coloring station & festive kids’ activities
Writing letters to Santa
Shopping sweet treats & seasonal goodies from The Pop-Up Sweet Shoppe
A portion of all dessert proceeds donated back to support the cause
Jana is beloved for her artisan sweets—this time her baking is doing even more good.Connecting with neighbors & community partners through service
Donations Accepted All Week (Prior to Event)
Toiletry & care kit donations are being collected now through December 12 at:

Every toothpaste, lotion, diaper, shampoo bottle, and hygiene item will go directly into kits prepared on December 13.
